Romaine, leafy greens, peppers, avocados, carrots, Yukon potatoes, and limes continue to face tight supply and elevated pricing. Romaine hearts remain one of the most limited items in the market. Meanwhile, supply and pricing are improving on broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, and melons, with additional relief expected in the coming weeks as production increases. Quality concerns continue on grapes and raspberries and blackberries due to heat stress and aging product. Overall demand is beginning to soften slightly following Mother’s Day and seasonal school slowdowns.
